- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. Orders and Payments
When placing an order:
- All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order
- Payment must be completed before order processing begins
- We accept payments via PayFast (credit/debit cards, EFT, and other supported methods)
5. Delivery
Our delivery service is subject to the following:
- Delivery is available within a 15km radius of our store
- A delivery fee of R35 applies to all orders
- Minimum order amounts may apply
- Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed
- You must be available to receive your order at the specified address
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
6. Product Availability
While we strive to maintain accurate stock levels, product availability may change. If an item is unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to offer a substitute or refund. We reserve the right to limit quantities on certain products.
7. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of our products (groceries and perishables):
- Perishable items cannot be returned unless defective or damaged
- Non-perishable items may be returned within 7 days in original condition
- Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days
- Please inspect your order upon delivery and report any issues immediately
8. Age-Restricted Products
Certain products (including alcohol and tobacco) are age-restricted. By purchasing these items, you confirm that you are of legal age (18 years or older in South Africa). We reserve the right to request identification upon delivery.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including logos, images, and text, is the property of Trafalgar Superette and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trafalgar Superette shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of KwaZulu-Natal.
